Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton has confirmed Bright Osayi-Samuel was left out of the squad for Saturday’s home win against Millwall because the winger is set to leave the club.
Osayi-Samuel is on the verge of completing a move to Belgian Pro League side , Club Brugge after QPR accepted an offer from the club.
“There’s very strong interest from a Belgian club,” Warburton told reporters after the game against Millwall.
“Bright was training with us yesterday to start today. But talks are now at an advanced stage and it was a case of acting in everyone’s interests.
“No paperwork has been finalised but talks are certainly at an advanced stage.”
Osayi-Samuel has scored five goals in 36 league appearances for QPR this season.
